Multimedia Architect

MainResponsibilities
1.Technical leadership in developing software related to RMHD(Real Media High Definition, a new media codec), to support media playback andmedia streaming
2. Take part in Streaming solution development, providestrongest VOD and live streaming with RMHD crossing different platforms.Familiar with DASH, DRM is a plus.
3. Coding using C/C++, and familiar with android and iOSdevelopment.
4. Conductcode review and apply suitable methodology to ensure high-quality delivery.
5. Work and synergize with software system architects andtechnology manager to secure on-time delivery of the projects
6. Provide technical consultation to customers for RMHDeco-system integration on both client and server.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science,Communication or Electronic Engineering. Master degree will be preferred.
2. Familiar with Embedded System development, such as Androidplatform, iOS platform and even Linux platform.
3. 5+ years in the field of video technology ranging frommedia playback and streaming,

4. Must be proficient in at least one of domainmultimedia frameworks, such as FFmpeg, GStreamer, DirectShow, Stagefright/NuPlayer, ExoPlayer.
5. Must be proficient in at least one of streaming protocols,such as HLS, DASH, RTSP, RTMP and etc.
6. Familiar with at least one of DRMs, such as ChinaDRM,PlayReady, VeriMatrix.
7.Must be proficient in C/C++/ObjC and be able to demonstrategood software craftsmanship.
8. Ability to read and write in English and Chinese and ableto communicate to stakeholders at all levels.


Marketing Head

Main Responsibilities
1. Work closely with VP greater China to form themarketing/branding strategy in Greater China.
2. Manage and supervise daily marketing projects andactivities, on target and on budget, to the maximum result, including tradeshows, media exposures (PR), market campaigns and joint-market campaigns withpartners, on-line and off-line.
3. Manage and supervise market campaigns, through workingclosely with existing partners/channels and new partners/channels identified,including promotional video production, media events, micro-film festivals, andmany other initiatives that attract young video consumers (Gen Z).
4. Identify and work closely with content partners, KOLs,content owners/producers (or it could be any possible sources, agents,vloggers, film school communities, etc.) to build and drive content pipelinefor our next generation codec RMHD.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum 5 year working experience in entertainment, media,or content creation related industry or business
2. Effective communications is a must. Able to liaise withmultiple stakeholders (partners, suppliers, agencies, etc.) to meet projectexpectations.
3. A problem-solver with entrepreneurial mindset and can-doattitude.
4. Excellent people skill for working in a team environmentand for managing external partners, internal stakeholders and team members.
5. Fluent spoken and written English, native Chinese
6. Be highly disciplined, self-motivated and proactive withan appetite for challenges.

Codec Engineer

Main Responsibilities

1. Design or refine RMHD codec implementation and provide systematicexperimental results for verification.

3. Document the development progress on Confluence and JIRAand share with team members.

4. Follow coding guidelines and commit the modifications toSVN after code reviewAssist colleague with product development andcoach fresh team membe.

5.Assist colleague with product dev and coach freshteam member.

6. Discuss the working status with team manager and decidefuture working directions.Attend weekly meeting and present his/herworking progress.

REQUIREMENTS

1.An advanced degree (MS/PhD) in computer science, electronicengineering, or an engineering field (or BS plus additional progressivelymore responsible experience);

2. 5+ years of R&D experience in video codecsoftware/algorithm development or equivalent academic experience;

3. Familiarity with at least one of the following videocompression standards: H.265, VP9, AV1, or Real Media codecs.

4. Solid programming and debugging skills inC/C++ languages

Ideal candidate will also have at least oneof the following experiences:

1. Experience in rate control algorithm design

2. Experience in context-aware encoding

3. Delegate in standard meeting: JCTVC or JVET.

4. Traceable successful experience in codec algorithm design:paper, patent, or standard contributions.

5. Expert level understanding in

x264, x265,VP9, HM, JEM, or AV1 software implementation

Marketing Executive

Main Responsibilities

1. Work closely with contentowners/producers (or it could be any possible sources, agents, vloggers, filmschool communities, etc.) to build and drive content pipeline for our nextgeneration codec RMHD
2. Identify the most effective channels to maximize campaignreach
3. Work with existing partners to ensure a smooth campaignrollout, including promotional video production, media events, micro-filmfestivals, and many other initiatives that attract young video consumers (Gen Z)
4. Identify new partners, e.g. relevant brands, KOLs, thatcould add value to our campaigns, and exchange promotional resources with themto amplify campaign outcome
5. Report on campaign progress and outcome.
